Santa Margarita is a family owned company that delivers products to companies that care for their own customers.

Based in the Biobío Region in the South of Chile, we deliver top quality botanical raw materials that serve as natural ingredients for the tea and herbal infusion, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries.

Our Story

In Santa Margarita, we have been bringing natural Chilean products to international markets since 1980. For more than 35 years, we have been striving to deliver excellence to our long-term customers.

Santa Margarita is a family-owned-and-operated company. Founded in 1980 by Raúl Urzúa Cordero, we began exporting Rosehip to the German market. In the 90s, we broke into new European markets introducing new botanical raw materials at our client’s requests. In all those years we have remained true to the values that inspired us from the very beginning. bringing abroad mainly Bio (Organic) products from the Biobío Region.
Currently, Santa Margarita produces a range of botanical raw materials such as rosehip shells (coarse cut, fine cut, powder, and others), rosehip oil, rosehip seeds, hypericum, blackberry leaves, berries, (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, and maqui berries), apples, among others.

Today, our focus is to deliver top quality and responsible sourced products from the Bio Bio Region, by connecting our local suppliers and people with our global customers.

The Facilities: Actually, we exist

Santa Margarita is neither a dealer nor a broker. We are an actual company with actual facilities that closely source our products and process them in the South of South America: Chile.

Chile is located in a place with interesting geographical and climatic contracts. Thanks to its geography -the mineral, rich soils among other factors- and to its climate -very warm
summers and cold winters- pure, healthy and good quality agricultural raw materials can be obtained.

Santa Margarita has production facilities strategically located in the city of Los Ángeles, in the Biobío Region, Chile. Our facilities are located in a 3,2 hectares property in the industrial area of the city.
